Grendel's Cave

Been pretty busy lately, and this is all I have to show for the moment. Just trying to figure out what Grendel's cave is, hence the one camera angle. I want to figure out what the surrounding area looks like, since it's the closest thing I have to a set in this story. I still don't have the mood I want, but I'm leaning in the direction of the bottom one. The Plane is supposed to be a Ju-88. It's very distinctive in the air, but less so in a crash site. Most planes disintegrate on impact, so it's going to be a little tricky working this one out. On a side note, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Exploring for a new project. There are no tigers in Africa, the Maasai do not live in jungles..... but there is a thread there... somewhere. It's a version of Beowulf that includes most things I don't know how to draw. Tigers, Jungles, Trees, Plants, Maasai warriors..... smart Ryan, real smart.
