Some House Sketches and Shader Packetry

I wish I had something better to post after the deluge of nice comments... but this all I've got for the moment. Anyone in my class knows I'm pulling my hair out over one thumbnail that I can't seem to get right. On another note, thanks to Adam, I now know this architecture style is called Tudor. And yes, the shader packet is basically photo collage, but no 3d. I might tweak it a bit more.

I guess this is kind of a minor thing, but I'm pretty sure that the white part of wattle and daub buildings is usually more along the lines of a stucco texture. I think it's some sort of clay mixture over woven sticks. Basically, there aren't stones in it.

That's pretty nitpicky, but it kind of stood out to me.

It looks good Ryan, I like this version way better than the first one.

Actually I think these are tudor buildings from late medieval europe, and they usually have something like stone or brick built into the foundation.

Yea, these look awesome, but I do agree with Emily that the brick texture on the white part seems out of place. I think part of what makes these buildings appealing is the fact that the white part is simple.
